HE WOKE UP IN A STRANGE PLACE CALLED HOME AND ALTHOUGH LOOKING FOR BED HE KEPT FINDING DEATH INSTEAD (2009)

An interdisciplinary traveling performance inspired by two classics -- Georg Büchner's Woyzeck and the Odyssey of Homer -- Charles Campbell's new work explores the legacy of global violence and a desire to escape history.

In this fresh look at our new America, a familiar figure wakes up to an unfamiliar life. Trying to assemble pieces of a past he doesn't recognize, he gropes through the domestic life of a dark neighborhood -- in and out of homes, sidewalks and streets -- searching for home. See us on 3-Minute Egg for May 13, 2009.
